Description

Brighstone Holiday Camp was one of the Isle of Wight’s post-war leisure destinations. A place built on the optimism of the package holiday era, where working families came to briefly inhabit a version of abundance. It is now returned almost entirely to landscape: the structures softening, the paths unmaintained, the site held in that ambiguous state between ruin and memory.

From the Forgotten History series, an ongoing body of work examining the Isle of Wight’s sites of historical significance, absorbed back into ordinary life without ceremony or preservation.

Printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Photo Rag, archival quality. Available as a strictly limited edition, individually numbered, and issued with a certificate of authenticity.
